Where, exactly, was this shot. I've been on both ends of the GG bridge many times and I don't remember a chain-link fence. I know the Oakland Bay bridge is being replaced and this could be near the construction site. However, this doesn't work either since, as far as I know, the suspension span is not being replaced, just the Oakland side of the bridge.

I was walking from SF on the right side of the bridge. I only walked half-way so it is there somewhere. I do not remember more than that. I did bend and lean for some shots. It is the GG. I have never walked on the Bay Bridge.
