I've had orioles invade my h-bird feeder too (yup, I put plain sugar water in mine too), but never have my camera handy and they are shy!! Sweet capture.

Interesting. I looked up oriole feeders - there are 400 on eBay - for jelly, fruit, nectar, mealworms, etc. - quite a variety. Many are just oversized hummingbird feeders - and there are 2,000 hummingbird feeders (many more decorative than functional)! You can even buy bottles of "Oriole Jelly" in addition to prepared nectar for both orioles and hummers, as well as mixes. Personally, I don't like the idea of feeding the birds the dyes in the commercial preparations, so we mix our own, as do several of you.
