Default Shadows

Early morning golden hour lighting is nice for shadows, they are very long.

I actually took this picture for the converging line challenge but thought it wasn't that great of an example. The uncropped version is pretty busy, but thought this crop worked well for this challenge.



Would have gone hiking today for some tree shadows, but the thunderstorms made that impractical. Maybe I'll try something else tomorrow.

Thanks! It seems I'm taking mostly abstracts recently for some reason, lots of textures and things like this. It's something different.

You're right this challenge offers lots of opportunity for abstract creations.
The buckle in your image casts an image that looks like a piece of the hardware.
Good eye.
