Default White on White Rose

I think that I've cheated as I've used Photoshop to obtain my desired results.
But, here goes anyways:

This is a beautiful image but it does not work well for this challenge. It doesn't clearly show both the subject and the background. In this case, only the subject shows. (I am ignoring the white background created by PS).

Might not be 100% per the challenge but I like the look of the shot. Will file that technique in the back of my mind for later use.

Thanks for taking the time to look and comment. Even though, I still like this image, after looking at Tullio's and other, subsequent posts, I'm understanding what Cal was trying to get across in the initial post.
