Default On The Street Where I Live...it was a dark and stormy nite.

We've had a lot of rain. And this is just one of the nights here.

Bynx,
Looks a lot like a scene from nightmare on Elm street. Hope you didn't get too wet.

I don't know from "Nightmare on Elm Street". I was thinking something out of Charles Dickens!

Hey, send some of that rain to the southwest - we could use some of it!

G'day bynx

- nice & slightly eerie shot ... well done in the rain
-- like mtngal - we could do with the rain as well ... just spent some time in an area of SE Australia where the farmer was telling me that his normal annual rainfall is "8-inches" but this last year he's only received 2-inches ... and "things aint good"

Regards, Phil

Ya every year there is the same amount of water going around. But things get screwed up when some get too much it takes it away from those who dont get enough. I sure wish I could ship you some of the rainy days we've had and will have in the near future.

Bynx....

Great capture of the 'sheets of rain' (I think I'm seeing that in the light in the foreground / ground area that is a bit lighter).. and near the street lamp.

That house to the left / in the background sets just the right tone.

Thanks for sharing. We're just past mid spring here in Adelaide Australia....withrain levels have been 'decent', but I expect in a few months the ground will be very dry and dam levels lower....
