Hi, IDMAT.
Sometimes those small LED lights can be used to provide highly directional low light. If you have one (or possibly two) of them, you can experiment with using them at an extreme angle to highlight the edge only. There's a wonderful book on lighting that I've been reading, "Light Science and Magic," ( http://www.amazon.com/Light-Science-Magic-Fourth-Introduction/dp/0240812255/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1322573269&sr=1-1 ), that discusses these issues and explains the theory of lighting in a wonderfully accessible way. If you enjoy these kinds of challenges, you'll love that book. FWIW
