Default Wild Card - Faux HDR

I took these two pix at the Cosens Bay entrance to Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park the other day and processed them with Auto HDR. I think the effect is pretty convincing, but having said that I can't say I use HDR very much at all. It's great for some situations but generally speaking I find the over-processed look unappealing. I used very light settings for these shots.

The contrast between the setting sun and shaded, clouded areas is remarkable. Wonderful capture.
