Default Doors - Imaginative

I have tried to be imaginative here as someone suggested.
The first is the doorway to a bird house but the second one is the most imaginative as it is a Fairy doorway. The fairy doorway stands in my house and is attached to the skirting boards (not sure what they are called in the states, maybe the same thing, not sure) It's the bit of wood that is connected to the floor and the walls and runs right around the room.

The Fairy door is about 2.5 inches tall but stands on white carpet with white walls and skirting.

Anyway a bird door and a Fairy door - how's that for imagination?

Fun captures! You have certainly looked around and found some unusual "doors"!

While I don't think we use "skirting wall" in the States, I was pretty sure I knew what you were talking about before you explained it. A very descriptive term, better than what I'm most familiar with, which is cove base (also sometimes called wall base but I think cove base is more commonly used). I have no idea why though.

Your bird house is priceless!

Excellent shots, eysha! I love them both, but the "fairy door" is such a fun and lovely idea! I've never seen or heard of them here but what a fabulous idea.
