Default Seeing Red -- At the pier

One of several "mature" ladies who walk the length of the pier just about every day. Her name is Dolores.

Every day you can see people of all ages casting their fishing lines from the pier, sometimes in conflict and the endangerment of the surfers in the waters below.

Couldn't help but notice how warmly both subjects are dressed. Dolores, in particular, looks like she's dressed for weather more akin to the type we have out here in the Northeast.

Zig, as you can tell from the fisherman's hair, it can get a bit breezy 100 yards out on the pier -- even when it is sunny and 70 degrees, which it is today. These were taken in '09 and '10 when it was probably in the low 60s on those particular days.

The first shot looks perfect. The reds are sharp and look correct.

The second shot has a problem on the gentleman's right sleeve. I don't know if that is reflection or some evidence of the problem that I've seen. Is that sleeve discolored or is there a bright reflection from the sun or something else?

Walter,
It appears that you got the red issue under control in the first picture.
I think that the lighting may be the culprit in the second shot.

Obviously, a reflective surface (the fisherman's sleeve) will alter coloration to varying degrees.
