Seeing Red: Bougainvillea
This is not crimson red but comes pretty close. Bougainvillea growing in my front yard. From back to front of the display is about 4 inches so focus is an issue for some of the colored bracts.
Re-sized for the Forum.

Mine look absolutely dead after some frosty nights we had a few weeks ago. They are beautiful plants but have nasty thorns. Good exposure...I can see just about every petal.
