Default Lower Point of View - Up On the Roof

Playing tag with a Snowy Egret which didn't want to quit fishing in our backyard pond.

LOL! How do you deal with such an interloper? From what I've seen, the snowy egrets around SoCal are pretty fearless. Love the pictures!

Yes, my daughter and son-in-law have tried all kinds of methods to protect the koi in their pond...but have lost some battles. Nice shots.

We even had a Great Blue Heron sample the fare once, but Black Crowned Night Herons are the worst offenders there, Walter - they cleaned out our Koi and Goldfish years ago. A friend had to cover his small pool with hardware cloth to protect his Koi from them. We only keep small Gambusia now to eat mosquito larvae - those were what the Snowy was catching - nearly cleaned us out.

I don't think I'd like to have one of those on top of my roof. Sharp images and great exposure.

Indeed, sharp images and spot on exposure. I know how tricky these are, Penolta.

I particularly like photo #2
