Default Circle - Alarm Bell

Maybe I have a cracked sense of humor, but I thought this was funny. It's on the outside of a building, in an alley. Looks like a really modern alarm system...

I found the message on the bell funny. I can imagine someone hearing the bell and rather than run up to read the note on the bell, probably get the dickens out of there which just defeats the purpose of the sign.

LOL! Guess I'll always be the square peg trying to fit in a round hole...

Come to think of it, a person hearing the alarm would only have to yell loudly, or not at all. This is located on a building that's one building away from a fire station, they would probably hear the alarm.

If that alarm sounds, it means the sprinkler system inside the building has been activated. In most modern buildings, if the sprinkler alarm sounds, the fire department is notified automatically. If you hear one and the fire department is not already there, you should probably call 911.

I assume the building is hooked up to the campus-wide system which sends signals to several different agencies. That's probably why I found the sign so funny.
