Default Animals -- Dogs x 2

This is the young and the old/sick. The pup on top is our Sheltie, Annie, who is now 9 years old. The Pomeranian was about 7-8 years old. We lost her a few days after this picture was taken due to kidney failure.

I'm sure it tugs at your heartstrings to look at this shot. I have 2 Japanese Chins who are inseparable and are 9 and 10. Hate to think that the day will come when...

Nice picture, but bittersweet. It is always tough to lose one - been there, done that.

My mother, who raised dogs professionally, always said if you keep a dog, it is advisable to have two. That way if something happens to one of them, you still have the other one and the impact of the loss is not nearly so great.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, I'm sure Annie misses her too.
