Default Churches and Graveyards -- What is it?

Do you recognize this iconic structure. There is currently a question of who now owns it and what its current name is. No fair peeking at the image properties for the name!

Took this about a month ago on our So. California vacation trip.

Yes, it is the Crystal Cathedral or is it? I read recently on the Crystal Cathedral website that it was, indeed, purchased by the Catholic Church and renamed Christ Cathedral. When we visited there, there was a volunteer guide who confirmed the sale but he was not familiar with the name change.

It is a beautiful architectural marvel. I had hoped to hear the organ but nobody was there to play it. The gift shop was closed pending renovation of the building (separate building).

A sad legacy for the Rev. Robert Schuller, who started the congregation as a "drive-in" church. Once he retired, squabbles among family members and questionable use of funds led to this sad end.

Wow, without the cross it's very secular.
