Default Churches and Graveyards: Arlington

The stark background only adds to the reverence of the place.

Selvin,

Arlington was my favorite place to visit when we were in DC some 6-7 years ago.

Great lines!

Wave01, Vsch1, jjdog2, Notdadsw41,

Thank you very much for your kind comments.
Vsch1, it is very sad looking across all these graves and remembering the lives that that they represent.

From World War I this poem still has meaning for us today.

"In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row
That mark our place;"
John MaCrae
