It's almost like an optical illusion the way it takes your eyes and gives it an effect like a bird with wings. Or is that only my aging eyes and rampant imagination?

I think it might be the latter, Selvin! LOL! I can possibly see the bird's neck but not the wings.

Reminds me of the swinging bridges back in eastern Kentucky. Very, very nice.

This reminds me of the Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver, B.C. This bridge might be more stable than Capilano but I'm not sure about the footing. Capilano has wood slats for the deck. However it swings and twists a lot. They say stay in the center and hang on to both sides. That is not always possible, if there are other people on the bridge.

Good imagination Selvin~I won't say it's your eyes :-)

I used to be scared to go across this bridge when I was little. Maybe it was because my brother was always trying to get it to sway and bounce. Not sure Cal that I would like to traverse one with wood slats.....

That's a gorgeous shot, it pull me right in. And I do see a bird too (does that mean I'm getting old too?)
