Default Metallic S

I took this yesterday, I was playing around with a new accessory (1.7 TC) I just bought. This is a manhole cover, I assume for it's for a sewer, but I suppose it could be a storm drain. In any case, I rather liked the shot.

Love it...you nailed the focus and it has a hard edged and yet dreamy feel.

I really like this shot. Such a simple, everyday subject captured in beautiful image.

Thanks, everyone.

Bynx - I can't tell you how many times I've looked at drawings, following a line marked with "S" on it, only to discover that I was following a storm drain line and the engineer had used "W" (waste) for the sewer line. Or else have to look really closely to make sure that I'm looking at "SS" (sanitary sewer) and not "SD" (storm drain).
