The b&w version gets my vote as best picture. An interesting purchase for 50 cents - wonder if it was originally supposed to have a Bible in it?

Apparently you are supposed to write down your prayer (request?) and place it in the box. Not sure if it serves as a reminder to you or what. I'd never heard of such a thing before, but apparently it is common among some denominations.

I like the color version. The green stones really add alot to the image.

In the black and white shot it is difficult to tell it's a metallic box.
However, from a photographic standpoint I do like the BW treatment.
