Default Metallic- Falcon

I often join the adult boys and their "toys" on a Saturday morning at the local car show and gathering. They spend an awful lot of money - and time - on these vehicles. Souped up to the max, they are certainly noisy and menacing-sounding, but there are few places where they can "open them up" around here. This is a '64 Ford Falcon.

And a full view. Notice the hood (bonnet) resting on the roof. The better to show off the "muscle" aspects.

Walter a few months ago I finally got up the curiosity to go and see one of these local car shows with their souped up engines etc. I found it interesting and the observation that you can separate the men from the boys by the size of their toys is quite accurate. I was hoever also fascinated by the very type of things you just photographed, the meticulous attention to detail and the amount of resources spent on this hobby.

I like the shot, but can't help but wonder what those red and yellow bag things are doing in there? are they just plugs for the intakes when not in use?

I see some definite parallels to the hobby of photography, it is easy to look at a bag of gear and forget the amount of resources and attention to detail we all bring to this hobby of ours.
