I would like to try that, or fly an ultralight sometime. My toy budget isn't up to it, though.

Yes, he is going in the right direction - at a steady incline.

It's a bit of deceptive as the operator is probably no more than 50 to 60ft above the water. I took this photo from a boat. There were 3 fellows with this type of set up flying overhead. I was lucky enough to be able to isolate him from the rest.

About 30yrs ago, I would have said the same thing. Today, I just look up and think to myself. Ouch, that would hurt if I crashed.....
