The sky is the limit- Refuge sunset and flyoff.
Took this last weekend at the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge. The tiny specs in the middle were a flock of White-fronted geese leaving the refuge for the night to go out into the rice fields to graze.

Love your photos from this place. Do you live up in Sac? If not where do you stay while up there shooting? Went over to your smuggy account and looked around.. lot of nice things there. |

I highly recommend a trip up to the Sac refuge sometime. They have an excellent 6 mile auto-tour that offers some of the best wetland-waterfowl photography in the state. Thanks again, Steve

Selvin and Cal, thank you for your nice words. I am glad you enjoyed the shot. I wish more birds had flown over closer so I could catch their silhouettes. But hey, that's what keeps me going back.
