Default Gadgets - DIY conversions

Gadgeteer projects:

1. Pistol grips with manual cable releases converted to electronic releases. Left: Original Stitz 2 position cable release grip. Center: same with trigger replaced with electric switch wired to two mini plugs which replaced the threaded cable release attachment sockets. Two mini plugs wired together with shrink tubing over the wire. Right: earlier attempt (on Soligor grip) ith internal switch connected to one mini plug with bare wires.

2. Hama pistol grip with original built in mini plug socket in side (intended originally for movie cameras). Photo without cable just for illustration of how such a grip is used.

Obviously you are quite nimble in the fingers to create these handy gizmos. Great to know there are tinkerers still among us.
