What is it? This was shot with my cell phone camera using a fluorescent desk lamp and ambient incandescent lighting. I took about a dozen shots before I got one that was close to acceptable. Then I post-processed, adjusting color balance, brightness, and contrast adjustments.

I will post a more revealing view of this gadget in a couple days.

Cal,
It looks like one of those all-in-one tools folded up completely.
A plastic ruler made in Britain? I'm surprised since almost anyhting plastic of this nature now comes from China.

If I recall correctly, I bought a package of three different colored rulers at the local Dollar Tree!.

This is, indeed, a multipurpose tool. The thing I find interesting is the small size of this tool. Most of these type of tools including Leatherman, are about twice this size. I'll post a shot of the tool opened up tomorrow or Tuesday.

Here's the tool opened up.

The brushed stainless steel from which this tool is constructed makes it very difficult to light because of odd reflections.

I can imagine how difficult it would be to photograph. Looks like a very neat little gizmo, what I call all of these multi-purpose tools (I've had a leatherman but now stick to a large pocket knife type of one. Doesn't have the neat plyers, I really like them!).
