Oh my goosh, I almost forgot what that looked like after living four years in Chicago.
I guess the term "A moment frozen in time" applies quite aptly here.
Very dramatic shot.

Yes, Selvin, I was also a 4-year Chicago resident (grad school) and Bob's picture brought back those chills. Nice shot.

We (warm weather people) have seen something like this in our freezer in the old days before the invention of "frost free".

Have to laugh at the freezer comment because I remember having one that needed defrosting.

I really love the picture! While we get snow and ice on occasion, we never get anything like this, it doesn't stay cold for long enough to do something like this. And even if it did, we don't have waterfalls to freeze.

There had to be some extremly cold temps for quite a while to get that frozen image.

G'day all

Aahhhh - yer all a mob of wimps !!!!
Come downunder to Oz & you won't see any of this funny-yukky stuff at all - esp at the moment

more seriously -for a moment, it almost looked like an ariel shot of the breakup of a glacier at the ocean ...

Well done
Regards, Phil

Ozzie, when you contrast the dust storm in 'tralia with the frozen waterfall gotta make you wonder what the heck is going on with the weather all over the world.
