That rock in the middle of the flow certainly gives the flow and unusual pattern. You're right it does look a tad cold.

It looks lovely. I love how a dusting of snow changes the world, making it softer and cleaner somehow.

I've been in some cold weather and the batteries lose their charge pretty quickly and it wasn't even as frozen as your shot.

Thanks guys. The second one is from another New Year's Eve but a much colder winter. You can tell how large the ice is by looking at the people on the right.
