For those familiar with Lake Tahoe, Cascade Falls is not a well-known spot for tourism. It's located in the South shore above Cascade Lake between Camp Richardson's and Emerald Bay. Getting up to where I took those pictures is a bit challenging. You can either hike from the campground down below or drive along this very narrow dirt road for quite a few miles, which is how I do it. However, it's worth it.

Oooh, very pretty! I didn't know it was there, what a lovely spot. Maybe some day I'll be able to check it out.

Thanks for your comments, mtngal and jj.
It is a lovely spot. Right before you get to where the fall begins, there is a small deli/convenient store for those who have cabins in that vicinity. From there you can see the entire lake and a small beach down below. It's a real nice trip.
