That hole must be for a very big worm! I love those slot canyons. My wife and I took a trip to southern Utah a few years back and had scheduled a visit to one but it rained that day and we skipped it. It was in the Escalante Grand Staircase region of south central Utah.

Spectacular shot.

I like how you shot this. My picture of the same formation shows more of the fin on the right side, and less of the undulating canyon wall. I never thought to shoot the scene like you did, and I really like how yours came out.

Isn't Antelope Canyon such great fun to shoot?
