I live in central Kansas. Our weather in winter can vary wildly. When it does get cold for a few weeks Milford Lake freezes and any snow makes lovely "wind" patterns. A frozen lake means we get to have fun watching the eagles fishing on the ice. This shot was a LONG telephoto.
If we do get a significant snow and an accompanying brisk wind, I love to photograph fenceline drifts. It hasn't been that cold this winter, so I have to content myself with sighing over shots taken in past years! |

All very nice. I like the last one best although I'd like to see a bit more at the top.
