Default Fire - Watch out for the sparks

I took this of my niece this past summer. Her father is standing behind her drawing the wings with sparklers in each hand. He also has a small LED flashlight clipped to his belt to provide the rim light. He managed to get the wings this even on just our third attempt.

Very well done! I really like the effect, and I admire his ability to draw.

The LED light effect just adds tremendously to the impact of the photo.

If the hair were a bit redder, that could be an identical twin to my niece.

Great job on the light painting.

Thanks everyone!

selvin - I was worried about that LED flashlight at first. It had something like 9 or 10 LEDs in it and was quite bright. But it turned out great.

calr - I hope her parents have a big stick to beat the boys off of her. I've asked her father for his once he's done.

Love, love, love this. Imaginative and unusual. The "rim" lighting adds just the right extra touch. I also really like persistence-that old saying that persistence pays off is certainly true here!
