Default Panorama: Hanauma Bay, Honolulu

Shots for this panorama were taken in 2004 using a 3.2 MP Olympus 730Z. If my memory serves me correctly about 4 shots were used in the panorama.

Paniolo, Thanks for your comments.
As you enter Hanauma there is a small road off to the right with a metal gate. You can squeeze between the gate and the fence joining it. Walk this road for close to a mile and at the top you get one of the most panoramic views of the island. About mid-way up you get the view that I photographed. The walk is not easy but because of the paved road it's not inordinately difficult.

At the top are several microwave towers and some electrical installations. Apparently many of our cellular providers have equipment up there. A few hardy individuals use the route for fishing and getting to spitting caves.

RaceWam and JohnG.

Thanks for your kind comments. Not too many people realize how beautiful the view is from this vantage point.
