Default Panorama: Hanalei Valley, Kauai, Hawaii

Taken during the early years of stitching photos together in 2002 this is Hanalei Valley on the island of Kauai. Noted for its taro and Poi the valley harkens back to a older and more rustic Hawaii

Another beauty! Again, this is a panorama that is a great image, where the panorama is an enhancing feature of a photo with strong visual interest. I still say it is harder than it looks.

Jeephotog and BobB,
Thanks for your comments. Yes Bob, to get really good panos is harder than it looks even with the advent of automated panos in some brands of cameras. This was taken with a 4mp Minolta with a superb glass lens.

Thanks for the memory, Selvin. When Melody and I were there a few years back, we went to Hanalei and I remember it exactly as you showed it here.

Great shot.

Wave, Caryl, Sharpshotgal, vsch1, calr,
Thank you all for your comments. Kauai, the island on which this valley is located is called the "Valley Isle" for the obvious reason it is generally verdant green with vegetation.
