Default Water - on a breezy day

I have lots of water bird pictures, but I like the reflections on the ripples in this one the best.

Very nice! I've seen that too with some of my water fowl shots - the reflections and patterns in the water are better/more compelling than the bird. I wouldn't go that far for this picture, it's too nice of a bird picture to dismiss that way. On the other hand, the pattern in the water is very nice, too.

We have hundreds (perhaps thousands) of Canadian Geese that seem to be permanent residents in the Portland metro area. They are almost a pest. They really make a mess of things with their guano. Someone should tell them that Canada is just a few hundred miles to the north.

Nice shot in the rippled water.
