Default sign of a real shootout for this biweekly shootout

County sheriffs had a shootout with drug dealers the night before in this wildlife preserve parking lot.

Not sure the sign painter wasn't too high on drugs himself to ENsure correct spelling (if someone hoped to collect on that policy, at least they missed this bird)!

Now, if a green gecko was sitting on top of the sign, this spelling would have made sense

Hmmm, I guess wildlife aren't welcome there, just natural features!

Quoting from my trusty dictionary:
Insure - 1. to guarantee against loss or harm
Ensure - 3. to make secure or safe as from harm.

In this particular case, sounds like either is correct!

Thanks Saly, bob Harriet, and Vsch.

Cal - The internet dictionary I consulted differs based on their interpretation of the context and probably current popular usage, but regardless, the operative point of this photograph [] is the bullet hole in the lower left corner of the sign.
