Default Red- Mexican Hat, Utah I think

I almost killed myself taking this photo. I pull off the hwy and up to a cliff with no guard rail and got out and stood in front of my truck with it running to take this shot. When I got back in, I realized that I never put the truck in park. If the air conditioner compressor had kicked it the truck would have most likely idled up and run over me or gone off the cliff (either one would have sucked!). Note to self... always put truck in park if you are going to get out of it!!!! *S*

Wow! Love the shot! Where is this formation? I've never seen it and would love to.

And a scary story. I did the same thing recently, only I had put on the hand brake. That held the car still, thank heavens. I almost did it another time, but that time even the brake wasn't on and as soon as I started to climb out the car moved - scared me big-time.

Words of wisdom worth paying attention to.
Lovely shot also.
