Default Reflections

From the archives. I miss these places. Hope I get back to them soon. Have learned a bit more about pushing a shutter button since I was there.

Wonderful shots! All three very different and all three very powerful in their own ways, from the classic to the more unusual. Were you standing in the water when you took the first one?

Thank you all for the comments. Mtngal.. yes I was standing in the water after about a .5 to 1 mile walk out onto the salt flat. I believe we were there about the same time.

Certainly about the same time of day, I'd say. When this topic came up I didn't even think about my reflection pictures until I saw yours. I didn't stand in the water, just at the water's edge. But there were other people who ventured further, they had come prepared with rubber boots. I was wearing just hiking boots that weren't waterproof, and didn't fancy getting all that salt in them. I'd love to go back one of these days.
