Default Transportation - Exciting Ride?

Since the transportation topic was defined as something moving people, then this would be classified as transportation. It is a means to move people in a circle, not from point A to point B.

It looks like a really exciting ride here, doesn't it?

Or maybe not:

These were taken last year, and I had to work fairly hard to get the shutter speed slow enough to show much motion blur. Some say that a photo always tells the truth - but what truth?

Both pictures tell a good story, the first one showing what most little kids feel and think the ride is doing and the second one showing the reality of the ride from a parents view. At first view, I thought you did the burr in PS because the same kid was in both pictures. Forgot those rides go around two or three times. Wish the big coasters went around more than once.

Thanks for the comments, I hadn't thought of them telling the story from two different points of view, both valid. I like that idea very much! At the time I took them I was really only thinking of it from the technical aspect of showing motion blur for one shot and stop action on the other. This ride was pretty generous, the track was pretty short and they went around about 4 or 5 times.

Shooting this is the same principle as shooting waterfalls, where shutter speed makes all the difference. Great stuff MtnGal.
