Default White on White

Heaven

Post processing: only corrected exposure in PSE and let windows resize the image for e-mail

300D with kit lens
Shutter: 1/250
Aperture: 4.3
natural lighting no flash
macro mode

White on white...I went for the essence and not the literal translation.

I like it! But my diet prohibits me from eating those lovely chocolates. I'll just munch on the petals....

This is a bribe, I just know it's a bribe. There's nothing edible I love more than white chocolate. And then you went and photographed it so well. There are times when contrast isn't what's wanted in a picture, when it would ruin the whole idea. That's really a good part of what the white-on-white challenge was about. If we can't meet the challenge, then there's a whole section of photography that we can't do.

(I'll do Ohenry a favor and eat his portion of the candy so he doesn't have to worry about his diet. See what a nice person I am?)

Thanks for the kind words, although I must confess...

I’m setting up the shot and only have the chocolates and petals out and it just isn’t working so well. My 6yr old daughter comes up, ask what I’m doing, I explain and she proceeds to pluck two daisy heads off and says, “you need these”, she places them down and then walks out of the room. I tell her thanks and ask where she’s going. “I like that idea, I’m going to get some white stuff so we can take some more pictures”.

she is definitely a keeper and unfortunately the only creative jeans I have are denim. I think I may have received some from my wife via osmosis however, I can guarantee that is from whom my daughter received hers. I am Lucky!
