Default Happiness - a different take

Some nice family and pet photos for this shoot out. Of course, I have to look at things differently. Some of you will recognize the source of this.

Remember:
Family is nice, and pets are fun, but Happiness

I don't get it??? Maybe I'm dense but I fail to see the message here and I certainly don't see happiness.

Nice "shot" Brian... Cal, think an old Beatles song.

I was never a Beatles fan so this shot falls short with me!

After some researching I discovered the hidden meaning behind this. Although, I must confess if you are a true Beatles aficionado the Title of the song "Happiness is a warm Gun" would probably spring to mind immediately.

Very clever puzzle. Perhaps a tad obscure but clever nonetheless.

Well I did not get it either. But, I am from the south and just figured you were drying the firearm to avoid rust. Hope it was unloaded! *S*

You do realize that just a photo of a firearm in the south is reason enough for happiness.

I live in California now and if they read this, well I may be shown the state line.

I would never dry it in the oven with the rubber grips attached. Smells bad.
Well, if Beatles' songs are too obscure these days, I guess I'm officially old! I even used a revolver (name of another Beatles' album) as an additional clue.

Heh Heh! It must be my sordid past, but I got it immediately. Took me almost an hour to get the song out of my head...now it's there again....
