Beautiful shot.

I was in Perth back in the early '70s but I don't remember this park. I saw a lot of beautiful things while there but the thing that impressed me the most was how friendly the people were. I was wearing my Navy uniform while there but I would like to think the people were naturally friendly.

Thanks Cal, I arrived in Perth in 1980, it has changed a lot since then but still a great place to live.
You'll be glad to hear that US sailors are still made very welcome by the locals in Perth and Freo.

Are Freo and Femantle the same place. I remember our ship (USS Long Beach) anchored about a half mile off the coast of Fremantle. We road small boats into Fremantle and then took a train to Perth.
