Default COLD: Ice Storm

After our ice storm.



Many trees didn't fair too well with the weight of ice on them.

Ice storms do make a mess but they can be so beautiful as your first image shows.

Lots of damage from the ice. I was awake most of the night as huge branches cracked and broke off and fell to the ground, or on the cars. Then in the bright sunlight it was spectacular. But so far I havent seen any pics, including any Ive taken, that came anywhere near to how spectacular it looked. Your first shot is pretty damn slick though.

Both shots show what an ice storm can do when it hits an area.
