That kind of weather would paralyze us down here. The first pic is very...wintry, in a pretty way. I love snow covered bridges, especially if I don't have to drive across them. I drove on black ice in North Carolina once and that cured me of wishing for snow and ice. I'll take sand and palm trees anyday.

Wow! Those are some tough driving conditions. I would not want to be out on those roads.

This was a week before we got a huge ice storm with millions upon millions of damaged trees falling apart with all the ice. Hydro lines down and no tv and internet. How did the world ever get along without the internet?

Great shots Bynx. I know that spot well with the bridge. We had a trailer up near Huntsville Ontario and we drove up that highway (11) many times.

That heavy snowfall lasted until Huntsville. From there north to North Bay there was hardly any snow at all.

Yikes! I've ridden on roads like that, maybe even driven on them a couple of times but they sure aren't fun. Glad you made it safely. Have y'all back there on the east coast made a pact that you aren't going to share your snow or something? I'm sure there's many who would love to have a bit of all you've had - we're already having problems with brush fires. I understand we are on track to have the driest season on record, if this keeps up.

Oh boy, do I ever empathize with those drivers. Great pics!

It hit 64 F over the last few days and people here in Honolulu were rushing to get sweaters. Obviously it's all relative.
Reminds me too much of my five years in Chicago.
