What did you do that I didn't do? I put the [Img] and [/Img] tags around it. Also, I didn't size it down enough....hmmmm. Anyway, this is my "fertility angel", given to me by my aunt (who also experienced fertility problems). I hardly did anything to it in ps elements b/c I hardly understand how to use it! I know I need to crop out the wallpaper (in the background), but everytime I tried doing it, it ruined the composition of the photo.

Please remember I'm a newbie and go easy on me (but hey I welcome constructive criticism). This was a really good assignment for me. I probably learned more than any person here. I had to really stop and think about white balance and open apertures and no flash!!! I actually hand held this shot and I did learn through this experience that there are reasons for using a tripod! I look forward to next week's challenge.

If you have an editor knock out the color in the upper right, it is a bit distracting in a highish key picture.

Other that that it is nice.

Heh we cross-posted.
Don't crop it, either select the offending area and desaturate it or try brushing it out with the clone tool. (I'm not sure elements can to that)

ugghhh, I'm trying to do this clone thing right now, but I think I'm ready to hit the hay. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow after some morning coffee....

Peter is right about cloning out that offending streak, but regardless, you met the challenge. Better yet, you learned in the trying!

(Well, did the angel work?)

The angel worked TOO WELL!!! LOL, after 2 yrs. of trying and fertility meds with the 1st, I got pg with my 2nd when my 1st was only 3 mos. old. Needless to say, I now have two beautiful boys that are just slightly short of one year apart.

BTW, could anyone tell me why my first post didn't work? I don't want this problem every time I try to post a pic. Thanks!

Amy,

It didn't work because you linked to the page the image was on instead of the actual image. Since the actual image is here you would need to enter the IMG tag as follows:

Code:
[img]http://images.fotopic.net/?id=2989020&outx=600&oq=0[/img]
Hope that helps
