Neat shot! This reminds me of walking along the beach as a kid on the end of Long Island, NY. We had some sandy beaches in my area, but a lot of them were rocky - on the Long Island Sound side.

This shot reminds me of a poster from a few years back. It shows two sets of footprints in the sand and then one of them ends. The caption reads (paraphrased) "God, you were walking with me and then you left me. God replies "No, son. I didn't leave you. Where the second set of prints ends is where I was carrying you.""

I have no idea who the author is/was.
