Default Glowing Water

This is Horse Tail Falls during the second and third weeks of February. That is IF everything comes together for the shot. It is a spectacular sight to witness with or without a camera.

Are you referring to the Horsetail Falls in the Columbia River Gorge near
Portland, OR. I have seen the falls during the day but never like this. Excellent capture.

Cal,

This is Yosemite Valley. Some years it is too cold and the water does not flow. Some years it is cloudy and the sun does not show it's brilliance. Some years well it is just too dry.

I was standing in about 8 inches of snow when I took this shot. I was in a group of about 100 to 200 others with cameras firing away. This only last 8 minutes from the time the light gets good until it goes dark.
