Very eerie! It almost looks like an x-ray image. This is one of those images where you can't be sure if you love it or hate it. Maybe you can tell us more about how you created it.

This picture was a close up of Ramona Falls near Mt Hood.
I used my variable ND filter, adjusting the aperture and shutter speed to the settings I wanted first, then adjusting the variable ND Filter until the light meter showed correct exposure. I used my Sigma 18 - 250 macro lens which is my backpacking lens.

While Cal might not be able to decide between love or hate, it comes down strongly on the "love" side for me. But then, I enjoy abstracts much of the time. I do agree that there's something eerie about it.

I really didn't convert this picture to black and white. It was in shadow and I cropped the original then played with highlights and shadows. Though I agree that I do love the black and white appearance.
Here is the Gloriana with no cropping or adjustments except for resizing to post on this site.
