Default Natural Art -- Delicate Arch

This is the Delicate Arch located in Arches National Park in eastern Utah. I know everyone has seen this arch on TV, in magazines, etc. but I shot this one!! This was taken from a ridge about 30 yards from the arch. It is possible to carefully walk out to the arch but I wasn't that brave. It is a long way down to the bottom of the canyon. The color on the arch is correct. It caused by the color of the rock in the arch and the sun reflecting off the surrounding terrain.

By George, it almost looks 3D. Great perspective.

Perfect light, perfect exposure. I tried cropping it to just the arch vertically - looks good that way too!

Thanks, everyone, for your kind comments. It was fun going up there although somewhat strenuous. It is about a 3/4 mile hike (uphill) from the parking lot. Much of the trail is over solid rock and the only thing showing the correct path was a series of rock cairns (little stacked rock markers) about every 20 yards or so. I hope we can get back there again sometime (bucket list!).
