Default Water Magic: Drought relief

As you know, Southern California is in a severe drought. Sunday we got some much needed rain with more to follow this week. I stood in a light drizzle last night to capture a huge rain cloud over the Pacific. I was the only photographer on the beach...the only person in fact. Canon 5D MK III and Canon 16-35L

Hey Walter,

On a recent trip out to Moab I ran into a guy from Huntington Beach. He specializes in photographs of the sunsets at the beach and pier. John something or other. Lives in an very nice RV and rides a dirt bike to the photo shoots. Seems you two have a great place to shoot most all the time. We don't have great sunset for the most part up around San Francisco.(IMO)

Bill, his name is John Minar and I ran into him for the first time 2 weeks ago -- getting out of his RV and walking with me to the shore for some sunset photos. I have several sunset photos on my new web site at www.colesphotos.biz
