Default Reflections - Sunset at the Pier

My favorite photography spot...5 minutes from my house. Taken a few days ago.

The first one is pretty, I like it. I can't decide about the second one - the overly fluorescent green of the surfboard isn't exactly to my taste, but it goes with the style of the picture and how you processed it. It's a picture that I've looked at for a while, a good example of the style you chose. I've never been able to carry anything like this off as well as you did here, so it's not a style I use. It's made me stop and think and really look at it.

Walter I think this pier can easily challenge Hawaii's Diamond Head as being one of the most recognizable icons in the world.

Like MtnGal I definitely find the first shot by far the better of the two. The greenish tinge perhaps heightened by the fluorescent surfboard doesn't work for me.
