Default Reflections

Early morning a couple of weeks ago. The fountain was running, so I used a longer shutter speed to smooth it out and get some reflection in it.

Mtngal,
I unfortunately don't find the reflection as dramatic I would like perhaps because it is so fractured. by the unevenness of the cement enclosure around the pool. For consolation, the night shot of the building looks great.

I think what attracted me to the picture was more the colors that were reflected in the water, rather than a mirror image of the building. I actually have an old picture of this building taken on the one day I found the fountain NOT running - it ended up being used in a book, partly because it was such a unique photo and partly because it was a nice picture and fit in with the theme of the book (which had to do with the history of the building and location, not with reflections). That picture had part of the sky blown out and I've tried to re-shoot the picture, but have always found the fountain working.
