Default Reflections - Swimming Pool

I took this in 2009. I'd like to go back and re-shoot it, there's a number of things I did wrong technically with the picture. But the reflection is too nice to not post in spite of the rest of the problems with it. One of these days I'll take the time to go back to Hearst Castle and re-take the picture. You have to admit, that's quite the swimming pool, isn't it?

That pool is fancy but the outdoor pool in Roman style is equally impressive if not more so.

Great shot, that water is so still and clear it is hard to see where the reflection starts.

I agree, the outdoor pool is spectacular. I have a reasonable picture of it but there's no reflections. The indoor pool is easier to photograph, and it is hard to tell what's reflection and what's the bottom of the pool. I love visiting Hearst Castle, it's a fascinating place.

What a lovely shot! Mine wasn't anywhere as nice as this, I was lower down and my lens was an ultra wide with parallax problems on the sides. Yours makes me want to go there right away and try again! I could always do a stitched pano.
